Exchanges & Returns
At ILLIGHTS, we strive to ensure you are completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not, our return policy allows you to exchange products or receive store credit for items purchased from the ILLIGHTS online store.
Requirements for a Successful Return
To qualify for an exchange or store credit, please ensure the following:
- Return Timeframe: Product(s) must be returned within 14 days of pick-up or delivery.
- Original Packaging: Product(s) must be in the original factory carton(s) complete with all internal packaging.
- Unmodified Condition: Product(s) must not be modified for installation (e.g., cut or tangled wires) in any way while in your possession.
If your item(s) meet the above criteria, please contact us at shopillights@gmail.com to obtain an Authorization Product Return Number (APRN).
No Restocking Fees
Typically, no restocking fees will be charged. However, customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
Defective Merchandise
If you receive a defective product, please email us immediately at shopillights@gmail.com with a few pictures of the defect. We will provide a return label or arrange for pick-up of the merchandise and issue an Authorization Product Return Number.
Wrong Merchandise
If you receive the wrong product, please email us a picture of what you received. We will send you a return label or arrange for pick-up of the incorrect merchandise and issue an Authorization Product Return Number.
Important Reminders
- All product exchange requests must have an Authorization Product Return Number to be accepted at our warehouse.
- Unless the product is defective or incorrect, you are responsible for return shipping fees, including insurance.
- Product(s) must not be altered in any way (e.g., cutting, clipping, or tangling wires) to qualify for a return.
- Product(s) and all parts must be returned in the original packaging, including all wrapping and factory cartons.
- Inspect the package upon delivery and note any damages. Take pictures to help claim insurance for any damage during shipping.
- Color variations due to different computer monitors and color chips are not considered defects.
- Exchanges made outside of this stated policy may be subject to shipping and restocking fees.
- Many products requiring assembly are not considered defective.
- All lighting fixtures should be installed by a certified electrician. Incorrect installation that causes damage or defects is not eligible for refunds or exchanges.
- We recommend finding a local electrician who specializes in installing chandeliers and other lighting fixtures.
- We will ship replacement parts for broken crystals or glass if you send us images of the damage.
- Special promotional sales are final and not eligible for return or exchange.
